Job TitleTurf GameOn Reliability Tech Lead | 1st Shift | T8Position Overview.Position Overview:

Supervise and assign Reliability Technicians to duties.

Assist Reliability Technicians with routine work to include: equipment set up, equipment modifications, repairs, adjustments to machines and equipment based training.

Assist Planner in tracking and maintaining metrics associated to departmental goals, act as back up Planner when necessary.

Maintain contact with production equipment parts vendors.

Assist supply room in adding parts and ensuring part availability for routine work and planned jobs.

Order parts and supplies as needed and approved by the Department or Plant Manager.

Maintain machine and machine parts records for the purpose of scheduling appropriate preventative maintenance.

Trouble-shoot unusual production equipment problems.

Discuss major machine overhauls with Department Managers.

Ensure that all safety procedures are observed by Reliability Technicians and that housekeeping is maintained.

Attend periodic departmental meetings as well as training that will foster continued job improvement.

Learn and use Sharp/CMMS system to set up and track work as follows:

Assist in maintaining work order database.

Assist in Scheduling and organizing work orders with the direction of the Maintenance Planner.

Communicate with Production Department Managers and Supervisors to clarify work orders.

Assist with assigning work orders to specific maintenance employees.

Follow-up on assigned work orders to ensure that they are completed in an efficient and timely manner

Inspects work for completeness.

Demonstrates and assists with continuous efforts to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service. Assist in development of, and roll out of equipment based training for process operators, to include equipment usage, equipment set up, basic operations and high level troubleshooting.

Adhere to normal work schedule and be able to work weekends and holidays as required.

Lead , supervise, and provide training/guidance to lower level technician- mechanic s.

Report to management any quality and safety problems and potential production problems that are encountered while performing the job.

Specify and requisition materials needed to complete approved work orders.

Ensures that proper safety practices are being followed by working EH&S and Departmental Lead ership.

Non-Essential Duties:

Serve on task forces and committees as necessary.

Work cooperatively with other maintenance employees.

Must comply with all company policies.

Must meet all requirements to drive/operate company vehicle on company business.

Must attend all training/development as required by facility management

Other Requirements

Must have lead ership, management, and team building skills.

Must be able to read, comprehend, and analyze data/reports.

Must be able to communicate to employees both in speech and in writing.

Must ensure the work environment is free of harassment and that employees feel free to express problems and concerns.

Must work to ensure compliance with all corporate policies
